Hluhluwe Game Reserve

Our trip includes 5 days of Safari. I had no idea what to expect. We entered the park in our open air jeeps at sunrise because that is when animals can be more active. Within 5 minutes we saw elephants, rhinos, giraffes and cape buffalo. Amazing stuff. They are close and you have no windows separating you from them.
There is a giraffe loping along the ridge in the sun just coming up. Now that is Africa.

Giraffes are a blast to watch. I wondered if this one would tie his neck up in knots. he next one just wandered down the road and we followed him in the jeep.

Our jeep mates were a lot of fun.

This bird was tossing the fish and cleaning him off I guess before he ate it.
The guide called this the big M supper club. As in Lions eat them.

We had zebras and giraffes on the grounds of the lodge we stayed at. We stayed at the Bayala Game Lodge. It was a fun place. We had little cabins. The food was a really good buffet.
Jeff photo bombed by a giraffe. What a cute picture!
