Christmas surprise!

For the last couple of years we have stayed home all by ourselves. It was OK. This year we decided at the last minute that we would take a surprise trip to Boise. Leslie, Andy and Magan were getting together for a Christmas Eve party. We arrived just as they had all gathered at Andy's house. SURPRISE!
We had a nice dinner and then gathered for a Christmas program directed bu Magan. Everyone had parts and we sang Christmas songs. It was a lovely fun evening. Just how Christmas is supposed to be. Everyone joined in.

 Everyone opened their Christmas pajamas.

I did not decorate or do anything at home for Christmas. We are redoing walls so it was kind of all a mess around the house. Here are our gifts around the family room tree.
My Christmas cactus was right on time. The morning of Christmas Eve it started to open.

Edie left a note for Santa to make sure that he found us.
Leslie had to teach me elf on the shelf etiquette. Do not touch the elf!
Leslie and I discovered that I am a short girl.
Jeff and I got up first Christmas morning. We had to make a little ruckus to get the rest up. Jeff put on Ella's boots. I drank some of Santa's milk.
 Merry Christmas from Marley.
Christmas afternoon we went to see Saving Mr. Banks. It was a great movie about the making of Mary Poppins.

Ella took her Christmas loot and bought herself a new iPhone. That was fun.
Camels just seem to be part of Christmas.
Christmas day found the Christmas cactus in full bloom. I love it!

It was a very Merry Christmas!

Looks like it was a great surprise for the family to have you show up.

Love your cactus! Amazing how that works. Right on time.
