A great weekend in Boise

At the last minute on Thursday we decided to make the trip to Boise to see the neglected kids. For some reason Boise seems so so far away. We also decided to invite Christian and Isaac to go with us so they could get in some cousin time. Friday after work we got away and arrived after midnight. We gave the boys the choice of going that late to cousins or going with us to a Hotel. Isaac piped up and said he LOVES hotels and he was staying with us. We got up in the morning gathered up Grant and Grace and went to Leslie's new house. Suddenly a big noise came thundering overhead. It was an Apache helicopter landing in the field across from her house. Really cool to see. Unfortunately in all the excitement Grace got away. After a few minutes of searching we found her coming back from Leslie's house.

One of the highlights at the Hotel was riding on the luggage cart. Go figure.

We walked along the greenbelt. The weather was perfect. Great weekend. My next post may be the snow, yes I said snow that it predicted this week. Sigh!

You are such awesome grandparents. Always having fun with the kiddies. Sounds like a perfect way to spend what may be your last "nice weather" weekend for a while. Keep smiling!

You are always so fast at posting what you've been up to. A great weekend, indeed. One things for sure: when Grandma & Grandpa Z come to town, it's a party!! :)

Your grandchildren are so darling! How fun to spend the weekend with them. I can still remember my grandparents taking me places and spending time with me, I always felt so important and loved! Great pictures. I haven't checked out your blog in a while, it was fun to catch up on what you've been doing!

Okay, it looks like you are having a great time with the Grandchildren, but I'm alittle worried about the look of the Grandchild on the cart looking at Jeff, that's quite the look he's giving.
