Sigh

Sorry my computer has been at the computer hospital for a while. I have it back and it is only moderately better. Life has been ....well challenging. I am thinking today maybe I need a very long break in what I do. Come to think of it I am not sure what I do. Seems like it is an uphill battle in many ways. So with all that said I remind myself of one of Jeff's famous sayings...
"you get to choose how you feel."
My Dad is in a ICU in Lodi California. I am back and forth on flying out there. I think he will be OK. He is having a pacemaker put in tomorrow. Dad has never been sick so it is kind of new territory. For tonight I have decided to stay home. Stressful all the same.
Sigh!

Barb talked me into staying home. I really hate being so far away from Dad when he is so sick. Sounds like everything will be fine.
Hang in there, things will settle down for you one of these days.

euuch! Sorry to hear about your dad! I'm the same way - I need to by their side . . . just a 'me-thing' - such a helpless feeling so far away. Hope things settle down for you. BTW: I know 'what' you do - A LOT and great things too . . . just so you know. I know the feeling of being totally overwhelmed and just wanting to curl up and sleep. Time for you and me to go out and take some pictures! Great therapy.

Mary I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. You just can't replace our Dads, and we need them around for a very long time. My Dad was just diagnosed with an aggressive Cancer, so I understand your concern. My Dad doesn't live in Idaho either. I will pray for both our Dads.

Hang in there, Mer! Maybe what you need is a nice weekend away, visiting kids in Boise. Love ya!

P.S. What's the llama got to do with anything?

Oh by the way Leslie, the Llama is just the llama. I took his picture in Cuenca Ecuador. He let me walk right up to him and I loved his soulful eyes. It is just one of my fav pictures.
