April showers and still in Covid shut down 2020

April came and we are still in a shut down. We do not go to church. We watch it at home. It is all so strange. Spring is here with spring storms.
We headed back to Rexburg mid April. The weather was warming up. We did a RZR ride up to Heise. Of course it is closed to eat there but you could order carry out. We also rode up to see a new cabin being built up in the hills out of Rexburg.
Pizza at Heise is always so good. We found a dirty picnic table to eat on but at least we were out.
Off to the shower for Jeff. He got a little dirty in the RZR.
Passing through Provo we stopped to eat with Christian. We just had to stay in our own cars. We have not seen any of the kids except Rachel and the girls. Covid is bad stuff.
Since we had nothing else much to do we redid the front yard in St George. Out with the grass and in with desert landscaping. We like it. The rabbits don't like it.
The roses are doing well.
Mister coyote stopped by for a visit. They come around sometimes. I think he is thirsty and hot. He would like to take a swim in the pool. Sorry you are not invited.
Jeff spent days cleaning off the sides of the pool. It was a good project and he did a good job.
COVID JAIL
This day we went for a ride out to Gun Lock and then to Mesquite going the back way. It was a nice day. We had lunch in Veyo at the pie place. Pot pies and pie for dessert.
I love these cactus. I just planted some in my new front yard.

It looks like everyone is doing puzzles including President Nelson.
We ride our bikes. The trails in St George are awesome. They go everywhere and are so fun.

One of the things that came with Covid. No airplanes at all in the skies.

We also golfed. It was little different. No cups for the balls to fall into. No flags to pull out.
Andrea Bocelli did a concert for Easter. It was so touching. The whole world was able to watch it.

They had a world wide fast. We were in St George. We fasted and then went to eat with the Letters and Caseys. We ordered food from Rib and Chop House. It was a nice day.

One more thing that happened during Covid. Because it was a worldwide pandemic they called all of the missionaries around the world to return home. It was amazing to see how they were evacuated from around the world as countries closed down. This picture showed how people felt as they flew home.

This is a very difficult time. A time when we have to be in charge of ourselves in every way. We avoid contact with other people. We shop carefully with masks on. We occasionally get tested to see if we do have Covid. We watch the obituaries to see who has died from Covid. We cheer those who recover from Covid.  We look forward to being with family and friends again.
