This is our private dining room and he was our waiter for the whole trip. He was awesome and a lot of fun. The food was excellent.
The last stop of the trip was Budapest Hungary. What a stunning city. The architecture and the views along the river make it one of the most beautiful cities I have seen.

Jeff and I went to see the Hospital built in the tunnels of the hill along the Danube River. We could not believe how they had created this emergency hospital during the war. It was narrow hallways and at one time had 700 patients. They said it was very hot and had a bad smell during the war. We could not take pictures inside of it.

We had such a fun time with the friends that were on this trip. Bart and Joanne Webster, Byron and Diana Webster, Chuck and Linda Porter and Randall and Trudy Porter.

We stopped into a hamburger joint that is famous for it s beautiful architecture.
On the Danube River is a memorial for the people who were killed here during the war. They had to take their shoes off and then were shot and fell into the river leaving their shoes not the wall.

The walking street with shops and places to eat outside.
Our night cruise along the Danube River was a highlight. We saw the lights along the river. It was a magical sight.

 The Parliament Building

This was our last night of the trip. We loved every minute of it. We headed for the airport the next morning at 4 am. There are so many good memories from this trip. I knew so little of this part of the world. I am thankful for the things that I saw and learned.
