If you have ever been to Kauai you know about the chickens. Lots and lots of chickens. Apparently they were unleashed during the Hurricane in the 90's. We had a little family right out of our door. I took a liking to them and got lots of cute little chick pictures.
We had a rainy day and Momma set up a little feather tent to keep her chicks dry. I made peep noises at them and they peeked out.
We also had a swan living just out of our door. She patiently shared her bird food with the other riff raff hanging around.
