Wow it is half way through December already!

Seems like every day there is a moment that the lighting sets off the Rexburg Temple in a new and glorious way.
This week was the annual Girlfriends Christmas shopping trip to Utah. Some years I cannot make it but this year I was able to swing it. Sometimes daughters meet up with us. The daughters are all as old as we were when our friends group started "hanging out". It was a frenzy of fitting in every ones shopping destinations. I think we got it done. We also fit in some good food. It was kind of funny to hear all of these women complaining about how tired they were from shopping and being on their feet all day. These are the same ones who hiked the Grand Canyon just a couple of months ago and knock off 20 mile hikes routinely. LOVE my friends!
I caught this shot of the Temple driving home from work. I did it from a moving car so did not get Moroni all in the shot. Sunsets here are really beautiful. They only last a few minutes so you have to be quick with the camera.
Christmas will soon be here. I think it is going to be a brown one. No snow on the ground yet and none in the forecast for the next 10 days. Only two more weeks to go. Guess we better start dreaming about that White Christmas.

Fun times.

I can't imagine that many women together shopping! (but then I loathe shopping)

I'll be Utah will never be the same.

It's hard to beat time spent with girlfriends. No one else can have conversations like ours! It is truly quality time.

It's true. You have a great group of friends. I loved meeting up with you on these trips when I lived there. Also loved that Charlene would tow a trailer down to haul all the loot in!
