The rain in Spain didn't let us down!

Here are a few pictures from our recent adventure. We arrived in Spain in a downpour. I had really hoped for sunny and warm but we did great even in the rain. The lavender at the airport in Barcelona was impressive.
Gaudi's Familia Segrada was so cool. It is still a work in progress. It is a Cathedral built by a famous artist named Gaudi. He has died but the work continues. You could click on the picture or the link to see some of the detail.
Rob told us we had to try the Paella. So we did. Paella is the national food. It was yummy. However we were suffering from jet lag and we got a little silly with the food.
When I say rain I mean RAIN.
We spent some time at a castle. Here it overlooks the harbor.
You can see the Familia Segrada from all over as it sits high up on the hill. Ana finally succumbed to jet lag on the bus. So did Grandpa Z but I am refraining for now posting his sleeping pictures. I think the rain contributed to the napping urge.
