Columbian scenes

Jeff meeting with a group in Bucaramanga on Tuesday.
This afternoon we were looking at a 16th century building in Tunja and I snuck around with my camera. There were so many beautiful things to take pictures of. We really do not have history in the United States like they do down here.

Here are a few views of our road trip today We saw both extreme poverty and beauty.
In between travels to other cities we have been staying at the Bogota Temple Hotel which is on the grounds. It is kind of like 4H camp. No TV, no hairdryer, no internet. Now that is roughing it.

This is a lady walking along the road while we drove to Tunja. We stopped at a famous battleground to see the memorial there. This is the view from the top of it.
