Dominican Republic scenes

We just finished teaching the two courses and are starting our journey home. Tonight we make the three hour drive to Santo Domingo. Tomorrow we fly as far as Salt Lake. It is a beautiful country and the people are very kind. It has been a wonderful experience.
The man above picked mangos for us.
We checked out the beaches.
Stopped to buy a bottle of water. The views here are stunning and no tourists at all.

Mary! This is Katie Money (from the Peru trip). I was just looking through some blogs I haven't visited in a while and saw your blog and saw you are in the DR, where I served my mission! I LOVE THE PICTURES - they are so classic Dominican Republic! Please say hi to all the Dominicans and give them hugs and kisses for me! Take care and be safe!
