Gotcha Mr. Owl

Those who have been around here know that I have been trying to see or photograph the owls for a couple of years. Tonight I got the picture. I saw it fly by the back of the house so ran and got the camera. I ran out into the back yard and (no lie) sunk up to my waist in snow. And I had a skirt on. So I leaned forward resting my arms on the snow and got this picture. It is sitting on the lights on Hills basketball court. Cool huh...in more ways than one. WHOWHO!

Whowho! Nice shot. Sounds like you've become a "real photographer" who will go to any length to get the shot. (Too bad there wasn't someone taking pictures of you taking pictures)

FABULOUS catch! One day I was driving home on Poleline Road and it was gray and stark outside with snow falling and I glanced up to see three geese flying in perfect formation right over the road - it was very eery (how in the heck do you spell that!) but beautiful at the same time. All I could think was "Where's my camera when I need it?!" You're owl is a great 'live' trophy!

that is dedication. To bad we did not get a picture of you in the snow, that sounds funny!
