I've decided to occasionally tell about our previous NRT trips. So here is the one we went on just before Dominican Republic. We had, as usual, a wonderful time. The team included us, Michael and Ann Marie Johnson, Fortunato Perez, Mark and Gretchen Chapman, Piedad Cedano, Patricia Pinto and Carlos Fernandez who is the Area Welfare Manager. The missionary couple are Wayne and Myrna Pratt.

We have worked with them three times. We have so much fun when we are with them. They will be released shortly.

We taught the course in two different cities, Cuenca and Manta. They are beautiful places and we had good experiences. We also were able to see Quito. It is an amazing city. Jeff and Michael searched for the real Equator after visiting the monument (which is located in the wrong place).

The picture above is of a view from a home in Quito. One of the most spectacular views we have ever seen. The group picture is taken in that home. Erin works for the US Embassy. We met him in Church and he and his wife had us over for a great dinner. One of the funnest things about these trips are the people we are able to meet and work with.

Shrunken heads!!!

Here is a picture of Michael, Ann Marie and us with an Ecuadorian couple in front of the Temple in Guayaquil. They are wearing traditional clothing.
Check out the bird on the Iguana's back. And of course Jeff & Mary doing tourist things over the equator.

Next time...Argentina.
