We arrived in Romania on our own. The rest of our group left ahead of us so we caught up with them in Bucharest. We had a good dinner at the hotel and got ready to board the bus in the morning.
Our first day was a full one as we headed to see the Dracula castle where he lived. We passed some fun things on the way. The churches are beautiful.
In Romania they call him Count Bran. He did not suck blood but did impale people.

We spent a couple of hours looking around the castle.
We climbed up and down stairs and through creepy hallways.
Our travel partners are Byron and Diana Webster, Randall and Trudy Porter, Chuck and Linda Porter and Bart and Joanne Webster.
I wish I could remember what we were laughing at. It was really funny.
They gave us plenty of time to walk around ancient towns and villages.
