Mountain Lion hunting

If you have read or seen the Rexburg news lately they have been reporting about a Mountain Lion that is prowling around Rexburg. Last night at the office we heard a pretty reliable report that a Mountain Lion was in a tree at Smith Park one block away. So some of the guys and myself armed ourselves with flashlights and cameras and went to check it out. We think we saw some tracks however the snow was melting fast. The tracks we saw were pretty big if they really were from the cat. It was too hard to see up in the tree where it was reported to be. So maybe today. Keep the little kids and pets close by. Oh and don't walk under the trees.
(I did not take these pictures by the way.)

Mary, You need to be careful. Hope you get a chance to see him and get your own pictures. Be safe and good luck.

I just happy I saw the Moose in our backyard and not the mountain lion. Be careful, you animal hunter. Next time I see a Moose in our yard, I'll give you a call.
