I am in a real bind. I brought the book Twilight to finally read. I was pretty skeptical about it. However I could not put it down. I finished it this morning and made a run into Lihue to pick up volume 2...New Moon. Perfect beach reading material. YIKES!!! It is not to be found. Anywhere. The lady in Barnes and Noble told me it is sold out nationally. What am I going to do. I considered knocking door to door here at the Marriott. Maybe someone here has finished it and will lend it to me. Maybe I can find someone asleep on the beach and snatch it away from them. So I ordered all of the next three volumes from Amazon. Even they are out. It will be a week until it comes. Amazing that what is really a teen love story is so compelling. I cannot wait until the package arrives in the mail. Maybe we will see if it is in the theatre here in Kauai. HA!

"IF" I were you, I'd stand out on a street corner with a sign around your neck offering a 'free' physical (of course Jeff could do that) in exchange for the book(s)! . . . see if you get any response! Oh, and I know a good bail bondsman on the island! . . . just in case! Hope you're having fun. Hey, if you can't read, go see the movie - I've seen it twice and I'm finishing book 3 as we speak! I love em'! Heading to SL tomorrow and will read book 4. They're plentiful here. Hope you're having a blast.
You are on. Jeff is taking me to the movie in Lihue tonight. Hope we can stay up that late. We have not made the time conversion here. It will be kind of like going at midnite for us.

Mary you are so funny. I too had to read those darn books....I'm still reading the last one, and I've yet to see the movie. Kenny thinks I'm nuts!! I already knew that though....so he doesn't have anything on me!
everyone warned me when i started #1 that i may as well buy #2 at the same time bc i wouldn't be able to function without it when i finished the first one. i finished #1 and really couldn't care less about continuing. about a year later i decided to finish them. it's weird how we're all different like that.
