The Chicos black skirt is in the washer...finally!

Here it is day four. It was an easy choice what to wear as today is Halloween. So black it was. The Church grounds have the prettiest flowers and plants.

Jeff taking a break outside. Looking dapper! This was our last day and we left for the airport shortly after the group picture below of the entire team. They are all so great. It was a wonderful week.

It took us three days to get back home. We started out Friday night in Periera and flew back to Bogota. It was a big Halloween celebration so took a while to get to our Hotel. Saturday morning we flew back to Atlanta and then SLC. Had to spend the night there and fly home this morning. It was frightful weather. Still raining here in Rexburg. Excited to get to the office tomorrow and start putting everything in place for the Grand Opening next week.

Oh and I wore the black skirt home on the plane today. We thought we had a blessing to go to but turns out it is next week. Oh well I made it five days! Not bad. I put it in the washer as soon as I got home. That skirt treated me very well and I think I will do it again. I took this just before I unpacked. What a pile of luggage. We have to take that much to get in all of the things we need to make the course work. We even left one bag in Columbia.

It is good to be home!

Nice work on the simplicity with your outfits! Truly impressive. So glad that you made it home safe and sound. Good luck with RMC. I witnessed the mayhem there. It will so nice once it is finished!

I heard a story about Elder Nelson once, that when he would travel the only clothing he would take is an extra white shirt and a pair of underwear and socks; each night he would wash the skivvies, socks and the shirt he wore, and let them dry the next day while he wore the others. Ties and pants he recycled until he got home.

So, in terms of packing light you are definitely on your way, but not to apostle status yet...Course, I doubt Sister Nelson packed so light when she went along. And, now you know why they always look the same...

Don't worry, I am learning lots here in Orlando and will have lots of new creative ways to spend your money when I get back. I already have one funny story to tell about a man who wanted to touch Lori's hair...but I'll save that for my blog.
