Sunflowers,potato fields and Tetons

Today we went for a little ride. We drove into a new development a few miles from Rexburg called River Rim. It is usually gated and locked. The gate was open so we had a look. It is my dream to live there with the views shown below. We drove on into Driggs and had lunch at the Warbirds. I love the place. We sat outside to eat right next to the runway and watched the glider planes come and go. Private jets coming and going. The food was delicious.

The spud field below is in full bloom. It won't be long until it is snow instead of blossoms. The clouds were starting to gather for our evening thunderstorm. We have had some pretty good ones the last couple of nights.

Sunflowers are in full bloom. I just discovered that by clicking on and enlarging the picture you can see bees inside the sunflower.

Love the pics! Such an amazing day it was! Love War Birds - sweet memories from Grif's wedding/reception! The pic of the sunflower ROCKS! Nice job. I took so many pics of the clouds yesterday (???) but they were so amazing - it became an obsession. Keep 'clicking'!

I love sunflower season! Beautiful pictures, again!

Cam is in love with your car. He is sitting here on my lap saying " I want that car" I said "Ya, that's Mary's Corvette, cool huh" He said "Ya, I want Mary's Corvette" He thinks it's Lightning McQueen from the movie Cars. You just might be the coolest person he has meet so far in his 2 years of life!
