Here is how my day went

I started out like most days lately. Amazed at the amount of snow there is. Here is our mailbox. We now have to dig it out everyday also.
Went to work and surprise!! They accidentally drilled a big bit into the main gas line just as it comes into the building in the basement. They came and found me and said "we need everyone out right now". So we frantically rounded up staff and patients and rushed them out into the freezing cold. The police, fire and ambulance responded. Oh boy. I told everyone to come back in an hour. By then they had it all under control and we returned to work. The smell of gas lingered all day. Very very frightening experience. As I ran to get my coat in my office (should not have done that) the thought came to me. If something sparks...this is how I will die.
Maybe the snow is not such a boring subject after all. Here is a tree in front of my porch. This is all snow that fell last night. Kind of interesting don't you think?

Nicole came home pretty 'freaked out' over the whole thing - she gave me a blow-by-blow account. Glad everyone was okay - I'm sure you grew a few NEW grays over that one! BTW: love the mailboxes and umbrella tree. The tree gives a ghostly appearance if you look at it just right. Nice pics.
