Another day in Paradise

Today was sunny at times. However it blew like crazy, once again closing roads and schools. One school stayed open and they could not get the kids back home so there was grief over that. This was the road as I drove home from work near my house. I think if you click on it you can see the blowing snow.
This is Pole Line Road. They have given up plowing at times. Several counties around us have been declared disaster areas. So far Madison County is hanging in there.
This is how much snow is everywhere. Many roads are narrow now because there is nowhere else to put the snow. Below is the driveway into Crest Haven Church.

I bet the kids are loving being out of school all this time! Your roads look like ours, except we don't live in a town, we live in a cabin community so it is expected here. Will it ever end?????

yes, the kids love it when school is cancelled. all of our winters growing up were like this. i thought it was just normal to live in such an icy, windy, snowy place...

I love your pictures. The different lighting on the snow is spectacular.
