I went to Boise this weekend for a couple of reasons. Leslie asked me to come and babysit while she and Mitch went skiing in McCall. It was Edie's third birthday, and I needed to catch up on the Grandkids at Leslie's and Magan's. I flew over Friday morning and arrived in Boise by 6:30 in the morning. I promptly hit Leslie's couch and napped until everyone woke up. Had a great day with the kids. We colored for hours. I helped them make a wreath and they were in awe of my coloring and scissors talents. Told me I was the smartest Grandma they knew. (Any Grandmas that want to know my secrets I will teach you how to make the wreath and you too will be the smartest Grandma they know). Magan and I went to lunch and then I sacked out on her couch for a nap. What a babysitter huh? For dinner I did the good Grandma thing and made macaroni and cheese.
Jeff drove over Saturday morning. We all went to dinner at a great new Italian place followed by birthday party at the Hurst's for the little peanut...Edie. Jeff had a rockin time playing the WII with all of the kids. He worked up a sweat. We had a perfect weekend seeing everyone. I am now bustling around the house trying to catch up on weekend chores. Great weekend! Thanks everyone!
Edie in her new ballerina outfit. Check out the leg warmers. Mitch was singing a Flash Dance tune.
