Last day in Paradise

Well our trip is nearly over. We board the plane to come back tonight at around 10. We are sitting here deciding how to spend the last day and decided to do just what we have done the whole trip, make it up as we go. We are headed to the beach before we shower for a swim in the ocean. Jeff bought a surf shirt that he wants to try out.
Yesterday it rained like you cannot believe. I included some pictures from the car of the flooding streets. We had to drive around sometimes to find a street that the water was not too deep to drive our little car through. We drove up to Hanalei and drove around Princeville. Very swanky. Out of our budget. The sun came out for a little so we put the top down. A beautiful rainbow appeared but we were not in a spot to get a great photo of it. It actually was a double one and went all the way across. The garage shot is of a whole line of shark jaws along the edge. You will have to do the close ups to see them. (Right hand corner of pictures, click on it) Our little swan friend came this morning while we were eating out on the deck. A rooster just ran past our screen door on the deck also. Poor Kauai and their roosters and chickens. OK we are off for another adventure.

Wow! That rain must have been amazing. Your pictures from the last week are awesome. It's making me want a trip to Hawaii. Have a safe trip home.
