We had our final meeting today. It was very easy and quick as we know the people we met with and they understand the process very well. For dinner we went with the Ruckers to another couples apartment. There were 12 of us. There are two new couples who just arrived yesterday and this morning. They had a welcome dinner for them. It was very fun. They are all having a blast down here. It was like sitting in a University apartment with young marrieds. They are all sharing where to buy new dishes, towels etc to furnish their modest little apartments. We found a connection with each of them of someone they know or are related to.
We decided that since we are finished we would try to change our tickets and come home tomorrow. It was an easy change with no charges. So we leave tomorrow night and arrive in IF Saturday before noon. Nice. It would be fun to stay and play but obligations call us back. Enjoy these pictures of Argentina and Paraguay.

SWEET pictures! Those are about the coolest things I've seen. You ought to post them on Flickr.com! Tourist trap or regular neighborhood? How fluent are you in Spanish, Mary? Have a GREAT trip home.
PS
Rachael, there's your NEW picture for your blog "Three Merry Maidens" (three birds on window)! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! Nice picture, Mary.
oh man-thanks for noticing berta! mom, can i steal it? those pictures are sooooo amazing. i love the colors. glad you get to come back early. hope you will be in slc soon.
i am so happy you are into blogging on your trips now. it is so neat to be able to see your trip unfolding while you are there. you are becoming a regular ansel adams on the camera!!! nice!!!
The three bird picture was taken in a part of the city called La Boca. It is a place that used to be a bad part of town by the docks that is now becoming an artsy place. Still a place you would not walk in alone or at dark. But they are using bright colors on the old metal buildings. I will crop it and send it to Rachel when we get home tomorrow. The wall of colors and art people is just along the road. I shot that out of a bus window.
You are quite the photographer. Glad you're headed home again. Have a safe trip.
If by chance you are wondering where we are Sat afternoon, Andy will be in a golf tournament all afternoon and I am driving to Malad to meet Kristi, I am picking up Savannah, I'll be watching her for 10 days while they are in Hawaii. We'll both be home by evening. I hope you have a good trip back. Your pictures really are amazing, I am so impressed!
Love to read about the journey and see the pictures! Be safe.
THANKS for my RED DOT on my world map - I feel so IMPORTANT ! ! ! I'm 'hot stuff' now (sizzle).
