Where did the summer go???

This has to be the fastest summer ever. It has been hot. The hottest I remember. We have had a lot of fun though.

Rachel is ready to roll out of here tomorrow. Very stressful to us. But I suspect she will pull it off. Certainly capable. But it is my job to worry and I have done a good job of it.

Leslie moves next week to Boise. So much going on my head sort of swims.

I spend at least an hour lately every morning working on details for our next NRT trips. It gets kind of crazy when working on two trips at once. We will be flying to Argentina and Paraguay on September 1st. Then to Peru in October.

We do feel blessed to have so many adventures. It is the life you dream of one day living and we are living it. Why do we have so many adventures? My answer is you have to put yourself out in the middle of life. The adventures will not find you unless you are in the right places. For example this morning on our daily walk (three years now), we ran smack into a cool "adventure". Or let's say it found us on the sidewalk. It is yet to be but I will keep you posted on it. I am sworn to secrecy for now. Don't you love a surprise!!

My Mom's twin sister Joan passed away yesterday. What a fun day those two probably had today renewing their sisterhood. I remember how they used to laugh so hard over the silliest things. It was fun and I miss those days.
