It is very hot this summer in Rexburg. They predict thunder storms this afternoon. Hopefully we get rain and not just thunder and lightening.
Jeff has been very sick since we got home from Peru. I worried even about Malaria. We do not know what he has, we have done every test we can think of. I ran a liter of IV fluid into him yesterday and he came home and went to bed. He is a little better this morning but we will see how he does when up. He has only missed work one or two times (except for his heart attack).
The pictures are from the yard this morning. The little baby birds are in the pine tree in front. The daisies make a nice border for the temple. The temple is actually much closer than it looks in the pictures. They are landscaping around it now and it looks very nice.
I have seen some humming birds in the yard so hopefully I can get a good picture of them next. I love looking at peoples yards so get them in shape. I kind of think they reflect the lives inside of the houses. Think about it. Mine is currently got a few weeds so I need to get to work on them. Guess I better see what needs to be weeded in my life also.

Mary, that is a GREAT shot of the temple and baby birds (adorable). Nice touch on the temple!
So sorry to hear about Jeff - that is darn scary - but you are definitely in the right profession to find things out. As I looked at the picture of you guys eating soup while on your trip, I wondered to myself, 'I wonder how those guys keep from getting sick?!' You're in my prayers! Keep us in touch.
I hope Jeff is feeling better now.
You are an excellent photographer and gardner. I just LOVE your yard!
:) Susan
