So in the last week they have been feeding us news about the earthquakes in Yellowstone Park. Underneath Yellowstone Lake to be exact. It is in national news and the local news. A couple of summers ago I spent a day hiking with Ed Williams who is considered an expert on volcanoes and earthquakes. He is now retired. He told us about the lake and how it is starting to tilt and drain out the southern end due to volcanic activity. Sure enough in our last visit to Yellowstone you can see this for yourself. Not to alarm anyone (including myself) but the experts are starting to be concerned about the high volume of quakes occurring. I have for the last year tracked earthquakes around the world on a daily basis. I have found it very interesting to watch the patterns. I keep a link on my home page that I look at daily.
