Sunday evening walk

It was very nice out today. FINALLY! I tried to call Berta to walk and snap some photos with me but she was already out with her camera. So check her out for new pics. I wandered down to the campus gardens. Very lovely. However I felt out of place, everyone there was snuggling with someone. You know that young love out on a beautiful Sunday evening. My main squeeze was back at home flipping through the channels. How did I get on that??? Any way, check out the ants!!! Click on this picture if you dare. Zillions of them along the sidewalk. Remember my fear of the movie "The Birds". Maybe "The Ants" would make a nice sequel. There were enough here to cast the movie. OK so on I went. I went down a lane and discovered this abandoned gate perfectly framing the Temple.

I came up a new walk way that I have not seen before. I think they are going to make a garden here. The views of the Temple from here will make great wedding pictures someday. Finally on my way home I saw the shadow of the Temple on the field across the street. A nice day. Looking forward to another nice day tomorrow.

Build a Bear, another quirk

OK, I got up early this morning and started cleaning the things I have procrastinated on. I came on my box of Bear clothes. I noticed that my Bears were a couple of holidays behind. Usually the grandkids come and change them into the appropriate clothing but they have not been around as much. So here is another quirk.
Jeff and I bought ourselves some bears at Build a Bear. I am confessing that sometimes we sneak in while in SLC to buy our little buddies a new outfit. It is so fun. You can appease your desire to buy clothes very cheaply here. They are all so cute. There are so many styles of shoes and accessories. So many holiday and special events outfits. So now you know. I have talked Jeff into making a bear clothes rod today so I can keep the cute things hanging up and not hidden away in a box. Check out today's outfit. Maybe I will post my bears on the blog and what they are wearing and doing that day. Oh my...I worry about myself sometimes. Any way the grandkids will love it. (and don't tell me you wouldn't love those little pumpkin shoes).
