Another day in Paraguay

Quick update. We finished teaching the course here in Asuncion today. It went well. We are with a great team as usual. The weather is perfect. We are getting up at 4:30 in the morning. Then a 4 or 5 hour drive to Ciudad del Este. When we get there we are taking the van onto a ferry over to Argentina and spend the day at Iguazu Falls. So excited as it is very very cool place.

Tidbits from Paraguay

Here are some things from the trip so far. The picture above was taken in Brazil at a book store. I thought it was kind of funny these books sitting together.
We stopped at the Temple grounds to look around. It was such a gorgeous night. Pleasant temperature not too hot.
The Ruckers are the Missionary couple we work with in Argentina and Paraguay. They are hard workers and loads of fun. After teaching and a little shopping we went to a local parilla for dinner. It was excellent and we got to sample the meat before ordering. So yummy!!! I had the pollo y championes. Any guesses?

Here in Paraguay at last

We arrived in Paraguay this afternoon. Whew it is a long way from home. There were five of us on the plane and nobody really slept. We watched the movie "Kite Runner". It was very good and stuck close to the book. I thought it was perfectly cast, matching what I had pictured the characters as.
The weather is perfect today. Tonight we walked around the neighborhoods near the Hotel trying to stay up as late as possible. We had to return to the Hotel before dark. They had Presidential elections today. We were told to not be out in the evening as there could be violence in the streets. So far it is pretty calm out there.
More tomorrow when we get rested up. For now I am giving in and going to bed. It is 6:45 pm here or 4:45 at your houses. Haven't slept since Friday night and that was short. Good night.
