A weekend for the memory books

It has been a very big weekend for us. Early Saturday morning Jeff's Dad, Charles passed away unexpectedly. So that has been hard. All of the kids came home with a few stragglers still coming today. It is a houseful of grand kids, adults and all the insanity that comes with it. However everyone has been well behaved and having a good time together. Usually when that many kids come home you have time to mentally and physically prepare for it. This time prep time did not happen but I think all is well.

Two summers ago we did a family trip to Island Park and Charles and Nell joined us. We are glad that we took the opportunity to do some fun pictures with them.

Grandpa always does the "mouth full of whipped cream" trick with the Grand kids. He starts them out young and they never forget to ask. Here he is giving Grace a big shot of whipped cream. Oh and he also pierced her ears today. She looks pretty cute. I did not get a picture of it.

Yesterday Nichole (niece) blessed her new baby so we went to that en masse. We create a scene when we travel as a group as you can imagine.

It was also Isaac's birthday yesterday. So we partied with him. Speaking of birthdays we had an announcement made this weekend about the next "birthday" coming up. Matt & Chalene are expecting again probably in June.

How much more can you fit into one weekend? I hope not much.

Here is the funeral info for anyone interested.

Viewing tonight (Monday the 10th) from 7-9 at Flamm's

The Funeral will be tomorrow (Tuesday) at the North Stake Center at 11. There will be a viewing from 10-10:45 prior to it.
