Good morning! We are off to Peru today. It will be a quick trip, back on Thursday. We are doing development work this time. Looking forward to seeing our good friends in Peru. We will visit two different cities while there. So travel everyday.

Today is our 18th anniversary. So our big celebration dinner will be on an airplane. Our connections are too tight to eat any where. We did spring and bought ourselves an anniversary present. A Delta Crown Room membership. It makes such a difference when traveling on so many flights.

July 4th celebration

Happy July 4th! The parade was pretty good this year. The Mullett Heroes float got our vote as the best of the parade. (Mitch don't get ideas). Nell threw a great party at the pool. Everyone had a blast. Swimming and lots of good friends, family and food, topped off with Hucleberry ice cream cones. Learned something new: drop a malted milk ball in the bottom of the sugar cone and it will not drip out the bottom. A really great day with more to come tonight at the Maleluca fireworks in Idaho Falls.

So I am meeting Rachel's challenge to post a not so flattering picture. I'm not sure why I fell for this ploy. However we were having a great time. This was taken at the fireworks in Idaho Falls in 2003. Happy Fourth of July everyone!
